Hi all,
Maytag Bravos MVWX700XL2 Washer seems to be working perfectly fine except before spin cycles a relay clicks over and over, then it stops clicking, and starts to spin.
Usually a few minutes into turning the unit on, after what I assume is it's "sensing" stage where it spins for a second, then stops, then spins for a couple seconds, then stops.... then again for a few seconds then stops. A little while later after the unit has stopped spinning completely and wants to spin again, the relay clicks 1 time, then 2 seconds later clicks again, the 2 seconds later clicks again... it does this for a little bit then stops clicking... about 5-10 seconds after the last click the basket will start spinning.
Any idea what is going on with this?
This started almost the same day the matching Dryer started squealing like crazy. Just got done ripping that apart and replacing the tensioner, rollers and belt... so thats running like a champ now. But as for the washer I can't find anything online other then everyone saying the "clicking" is the door lock when you start the unit. I can't see it being the door lock because the units already been running for a few minutes before this clicking starts. I also tried to open the lid between clicks to see if something was happening with the lock, but it stayed locked the entire time.
