My washer is acting weird yet again. About twenty minutes into a cycle, we noticed that there wasn't any water running into the machine during the wash cycle. We stopped the machine, and it was trying to drain water that wasn't there. When the lid lock was finally off, the clothes were wet and had some suds on them. We restarted the cycle, and the water was only coming out in short spurts, then the drum would spin quickly. After it stopped another few spurts of water and then it would spin slow. Any ideas why it wouldn't fill with water as usual? This machine is getting pretty frustrating...haha.
 
I'd first turn the water supply facets off to your washer, and remove the fill hoses and see if the water inlet valve screens are clogged with sediment.
