We have a 27 year old Maytag Dryer DE309. When the drying cycle stops the buzzer will not turn off unless we open the door. The drying stops at the end of the cylce but the buzzer doesn't. If there is time still on the timer and the we close the door -the dryer will start by itself without pushing the button to start. Any ideas on what is wrong -and can we fix it ourselves? We still have the matching washer and we'd hate to get rid of the dryer. Thanks.
