Maytag dishwasher, Didn't realize it was leaking until our laminate floor started to bubble up from the water. The appliance store we bought it from came (It was under 1 year old) the service person looked it up and said it was a known issue he returned the same day to install the replacement part. Our only problem has been with the floor and Maytag. We received a call from the appliance store and Maytag wants us to turn the flooring issue into our insurance company. Since this is a known issue and in our opinion a Maytag issue that will not be happening. Our insurance is not responsible. Prior to purchasing this Maytag dishwasher we had a Samsung brand dishwasher. Had it over 7 years it also developed a leak. But they have a sensor that would not allow the machine to turn on. Guess Maytag needs to invest in newer technology. We will never purchase anything from Whirlpool/Maytag again.
