H all,
I've had this dryer for about 5 or 10 years; and it's taking longer and longer to dry clothes ..... over an hour for a medium load.
It feels warm inside, so I'm wondering if there's a problem of which I'm not aware.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Does it do it on BOTH TIMED DRY and AUTO DRY?

Sounds like you have a vent restriction, Pull the dryer out from the wall, then remove the exhaust hose from the back of it, then dry a load with no exhaust on it and post the results.

Hi Jake,
No, it's seems to be manual, just set the timer and push the button.
You were right. I removed the exhaust pipe from behind and it was full of insulation. With that removed it dried the clothes much faster. The pipe running from the dryer to the exhaust line, had either disconnected, or had never been connected in the first place. The baseboards were damp, filthy, and falling apart. I bought a flexible connector line and put that on. The one that was there, was one of these short twist types, the ones you can rotate to change the direction of flow ...... much too short. It should work now.
Thanks very much for your advice.
