Hello All,

I have a Maytag MDG9806AWW. The dryer has a grinding/rattling noise for 15 seconds, an audible "click", and the noise would stop for a few minutes. I appears to be coming from the right-rear of the dryer (when facing dryer).

So far, the two rear drum rollers and associated axles, belt tension pulley and drum belt have been replaced.

Video attached - You can hear the noise stop at 14/15 seconds.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Its sounds like your front bearing pads, check them to make sure they are not worn down, that will cause that noise.

When you click the part link to it below, you will see a video of HOW TO remove and replace them.:)

Here's the front bearing kit, you will need to order two:

Let us know how it goes.
