Hello,

Please move if in wrong forum, we have a Maytag Dryer MEDB765FW0 and had to replace the door latch 3 times, the door keeps opening when drying with clothes in it. We've had repair out twice, once we done it ourselves. Anyone have any insight into this issue?

And any recommendations for a reliable dryer?

Has the female door catch just been replaced without replacing the door strike?

Here's the door strike for your model: Strike W11366436

It mounts on the front panel and goes into the female door catch on the door. Here's the photo of it below.



If the door strike was replaced too and its still doing it, then the problem is the door hinges are bent and those would need to be replaced.
