I have a 4-5 year old Maytag MEDB765FW0 Dryer and all of the sudden it wont heat. Everything else is working properly. Is there a quick way to determine if its the heating element? thanks

So the dryer is running but not heating? Did you check your dryer breaker in your home breaker box to make sure one of the dual breakers is not tripped?

You can Ohm test the heating element and thermal cut-off and high-limit thermostat, you'd need a multimeter. Make sure you disconnect power to the dryer first before accessing/ohm testing those parts.

Here's the thermal cut-off for your model:

Here's the heating element for your model:

Perfect, thank you. The breaker is fine, so I will ohm test the parts today.

Your welcome.:)

Let us know how it goes.

Do you know how to access those parts?
