Through the help of this forum, I recently diagnosed that my maytag side-by-side fridge had a problem with the adaptive defrost timer. The frost kept building up within a week and we had to manually defrost it.

Recently, I order a replacement, and replaced the adaptive defrost timer. Strangely, since I did the replacement, the freezer fan has not been running. It's been around six hours now and the fridge and freezer are both warm.

Any advice on what I can do next would be really appreciated.

Thank you!

Those adaptive defrost boards are not the easiest thing to replace and it's very easy to be off by one pin or the connector not even being on all the way. The evaporator fan motor and the condensor fan motor share a common connection, the orange wire from the adaptive control. If the condenser motor is working fine, you'll need to check for 120 volts at the evaporator fan motor.
