After four years of grief, frustration etc. I had to give up repairing this machine. In the end the control had a mind of its own.
Prepaired to purchase new control, none available in Canada.
I would like to send Whirlpool a complaint but it would probably fall on deaf and dead ears.
The point is caution anyone not to buy a whirlpool front load washer.
