Fridge started being warm then ice maker in the fridge stopped working, while freezer fine. Went into test mode and noticed the fridge thermistor was off by like ~10 degrees so i replaced it and its registering the right temp but nothing changed. Took apart the freezer and saw a huge ice chunk on the top of the coils (assuming it wasnt defrosting properly) so melted everything and tested the defrost thermostat. Stayed closed all the way to room temp so I replaced. Nothing changed, seems like defrost system still not kicking in enough. I can manually run the defrost system from the test mode so it works because if i run the forced defrost two or three times, the fridge cools for about an hour then goes back. Fans tested and run fine, damper tested and runs fine. So last thing I do was swap the board assuming some defrost issue in the board and again it did not work. Anyone have any ideas before i simply give up and buy a new one?
