After a recent power outage my refrigerator stopped working and the display went dark. If you press a button on the panel it lights up but nothing happens. I checked power at the main board and it’s 11.4volts. Does that mean it’s faulty?

Hi,

Usually it's the main control board behind your machine that's the culprit when the control panel goes blank.

If you want to verify that--->Locate the J6 connector and measure the voltage between J6-1 (blk/grn) and J6-2 (red/blk) = 12 Volts DC operating voltage for control panel.

For others following your thread--->The main control board is in the back of your refrigerator, there should be a cover over it, just remove the cover screws and cover and you will see it.

Yes, the main control board should fix it then, remember do the programming of it when you get it. Unplug your refrigerator before you install it.

So woke up this morning to my frig not working properly. The front control panel does not light up. If I press one of the buttons, the whole panel lights up, and if I press the water or ice button, it beeps loudly. Seems like the frig and freezer are also not working. Any ideas?
