Freezer freezes fine. Refrigerator evaporator was frozen over. Defrosted and replaced damper control and thermistor. Refrigerator still not cooling. Replaced evaporator fan motor in refrigerator. Still not cooling. Checked freezer evaporator fan and coils and all good. Condenser fan good. Replaced main control board and refrigerator still not cooling. Any ideas on what to do next?

Hi Dixiedog, Here's the parts diagram for your model:

Ok, so the evaporator fan motor in the refrigerator section is running fine and blowing plenty of air, but the air is not cold? Did you put your evaporator cover back in place? That's very important to do.

Take a photo of your evaporator coil and upload it here, we need to see the frost pattern on it.

Correct, fan is blowing fine. Correct, cover is on. I can take a picture after bit but there is no, zero, zip frost on the coils. Which I expected it to frost up again. Maybe there’s a leak?

If the compressor and condenser fan motor is running and you have no frost at all on your evaporator coil, then you have a sealed system problem.

The sealed system consists of the compressor, condenser, evaporator, heat exchanger, filter/drier and refrigerant. Common problems with a sealed system are bad compressors, refrigerant leaks, and system restrictions.

Check your owners manual warranty, some models have a 5 to 10 yr. parts and labor warranty on the sealed system.
