That's likely why the price is so high, you won't need to order those, the only exception is if the leak is in the evaporator coil, but that's extremely rare to ever see happen.

I've been doing this 34 years, and never once did I ever have to replace the compressor AND evaporator AND condenser on any refrigerator.

I just replaced the compressor and filter drier that fixed it.

Ok. Do you have the part number for the condenser fan motor? You said earlier if that's not running that it may be causing this issue as well.

Also, do you think it's worth replacing the motherboard as well while they are back there since the UI is reading "E0" on the Ice Maker when it's actually not working.

As I said Maytag is covering the parts so I would like to only have to pull the refrigerator out one time.

Chris, Maytag will not cover anything but sealed system parts under their sealed system warranty.

Here's the condenser fan motor for your model:

I understand that is their standard warranty; however, I already spoke with them and they are covering any parts necessary to get the refrigerator back to normal working condition.

Do you think the motherboard needs to be replaced or no? I feel like it is malfunctioning since it's not recognizing the error on the IM or the correct temps.

Yes, possibly the motherboard, the new motherboard, ON YOUR MODEL, comes with a new dispenser board, which ALWAYS has to be replaced at the same time you replace the motherboard.:)

So I have an official diagnosis. The refrigerator evaporator has a leak, and the compressor is "malfunctioning". He said the evaporator is out of stock (part W11492867), but when I search for the refrigerator evaporator for my model I get part W11116006. And I don't see W11492867 anywhere as a replacement number or a number that has been replaced by W11116006.

Can you please confirm that W11116006 is the correct part?

The official OEM parts from Maytag lists this as your original part number for it: W10630535

The manufacturer has replaced part number W10630535 with part number W11116006

I checked 4 part sites and all of them say to use W11116006.

Yeah that's the only part I see as well. I even called Maytag Parts customer service and they also said it's W11116006.

However, the woman at Whirlpool I'm talking with about the warranty work said that 6006 is an outdated part and W11492867 is the new one. So does that mean that 6006 won't work?? Obviously not. The 2867 is out of stock everywhere so I don't see why I can't use the 6006 as a substitute to get this job done ASAP.

Thanks for the help, Jake.

Ended up replacing the compressor and refrigerator evaporator and the issue is now fixed. Not sure which one fixed it but as long as it continues to work I don't care.
