The igniter will glow and gas will be ignited for 1 minute then shut down for a minute and repeat, repeat, repeat.
What could the problem be?
Exhaust is not blocked or restricted.

Thanks for reading

Hi,

Have you tried with the vent removed from the dryer so the dryer can exhaust into the room ( testing only ) to see what happens.
Filter been checked? http://www.applianceaid.com/dryer-lint-filter-tip.php
Drum seals been checked?
You are not running this with panals removed?....right?

What happens after flame stops after that 1 minute?

jeff.

That so much sounds like an air flow issue of some sort. For sure check the lint filter, venting, drum seals again as the best place to start.

Failing those. Weak safety thermostat from poor air flow. Weak coils on the gas valve would be next suspects.

Thanks Jeff,

I will dig into this and report back. I’ll be off grid for 10 days but I will post results.

Here is an update on my issue.

It turned out to be the blower wheel. the bore was "hogged out" so bad that it was no longer keyed to motor shaft..

Thanks Jeff for starting me on the track to success!
