My Maytag MVWX655DW1 washer is making an odd noise. I pulled the agitator off and found a key. Took the key out and it sounds somewhat better. The gears/slots in the agitator looked ok. I'm attaching a video of the noise and one of it spinning normal. I attached pics of the agitator gear/teeth too. Maybe it's the transmission/gear box.

Yes, the 1st video sounds like the hub is the problem. Also take a photo of your transmission shaft if you could please.

Check your hub first.

Looks like it's the hub as you said. Hub is almost smooth. I think the transmission shaft is ok. Pics attached. Thanks!!!
