My dryer started to not respond to keypad presses somewhat erratically. Now it won't start up at all, and mostly shows "18" on the LED, although occasionally I'm able to get the timer button to function and add time to a timed dry, but still can't start the dryer.

Opened up the rear service panel, found the diagnostics sheet and put it into service mode and eventually was able to get it into diagnostics code, which reported 08 (stuck key) but not sure if I was able to read all the codes since the key pad responded erratically. Got it into Membrane check mode and tried pressing various keys but was only able to get 1 light to turn off (I think the wrinkle dry button light.

Does this mean I need to replace the membrane, or the control board, or something else.

Thanks

Hi,

We need the full model number. Your missing 3 letters after the "0" at the end of your model number. Read it from the tag on the machine.

We also need the serial number.

Click here: Appliance Parts at RepairClinic. 125 Brands. 365 Day Returns.

Then you will see a link that says: Help me find my model number.

Yes, from the information you posted, sounds like you will need a new membrane.
