Water pours out from the bottom and side of the door opposite the hinges. It only does this at the 3rd rinse. Doesn't matter whether its on normal or delicate, hot or cold, small or large load. Every solution anywhere says to check the bellows/door seal. But mine seems to be in perfect condition- not cracked, no pin holes, not moldy. I backed off the screw on the top door hinge in case it was twisting the door away at the bottom (as per a repair troubleshooting guide I found). The drain hole in the bellows is clear (I removed the little drain hose from it and cleaned some goop out of it). The main tub drain hose feels empty of objects when I squeeze it. Since the door is not clear on my model, I can't tell what the water level is during each cyle, but it seems to go through each cycle fine.
I am going out of my mind trying to figure this out. :wall:

Hi,

Fill water enters through different hoses ( like 41, 42 ) and the hoses at the front should be checked...

...one might be cracked, yanked apart, etc.

Thanks. Do you know of a correlation between these and the third rinse cycle (which is when the water pours out.)

Last fill would be the one the fabric softner is dispensed into the washer.

Right. Still don't see how that would cause water to pour out the bottom corner of the door. Any thoughts?

What part of there are different fill spots the water comes in....if one of them is broken the others can be ok and just that one spot/hose in the cycle will cause a leak is not understood??.....remove the front panals and check!
On most stacked units these hoses run beside the door.

Hey Angebunch!

Did you fix your neptune washer? I have the EXACT problem as you. The door is leaking from the right bottom corner. The door hinge is on the left.

The seal against the door looks fine. I removed the door and front panel and reinstalled the door to diagnose the problem. The 3 hoses under the door are not leaking. The seal around the drum has some mold but it is inside. The door seems to close against the seal properly. I'm wondering if the lock mechanism is not holding the door tightly closed.

Basically, I am stumped? How did you fix yours?

Does anyone else have a solution?

Thanks for any help!

Yes, as a matter of fact I did, and it was easy but kind of weird. Can you picture the large round part of the door that projects into the washing machine?

Well, about a year ago, we had some leaking from the door and we noticed that the bottom of that protruding area had some cracks in it, around the large vent hole. So my husband put silver furnace tape across the area and the leaking stopped. This time, after removing the door for the 3rd time to try to troubleshoot this recent leaking, I followed the smudge mark that the door gasket left on the door and I noticed that it crossed over this tape. I then saw that the tape had buckled/wrinkled just a little, and when I cut some of it away... bingo, leaking stopped.

What put me onto this was someone else's post about removing some hair or threads from down there. Seems it only takes the slightest gap to let the water pour out.

Let me know if that doesn't make sense and I'll try to post a picture of what I'm talking about.
