Been working on this old Maytag portable dishwasher for two weeks. Had to wait one week for parts. Replaced the water inlet valve (had to jimmy-rig the mounting and wiring) and water float switch. No work. Only getting 16.3 vac at inlet water valve. Any suggestions?

Do you get 120 volts at the float switch when it should be filling? If not, then you have a broken/frayed/shorted wire or the timer is the culprit.

Here's the timer for your model, but its No Longer Available:
Timer WP99002431

Thank You...
Low voltage 16.3vac at water inlet valve. I found a used timer on eBay.
Will try that...
Thanks again Jake!

Ok Johnnylee, yes let us know how it goes.:)
