It looks like I have the common issue of one of the LED lights dying in my fridge LED panel. I’ve seen the links to the removal video for the Maytag panel that has tabs on the side, but my panel appears to be a bit different in terms of how it is attached. I can’t search for a part number until I take the panel out. Any help would be appreciated in what I need to do to get this darn thing out. It appears that there are some tabs in the back, but after trying to pry them a bit with a screwdriver, it seems like those are there to hook the panel into place.

Hi,

Your missing 2 digits at the end of your model number, we need those first. Read it from the model number tag which is located inside the refrigerator section on the upper walls or ceiling.

Thanks!

Here's the LED light module for your model:

I couldn't locate the instructions to remove that LED panel, but once you click the part number I posted to it above, they have a Question and Answer section you can ask them there.

After playing around more (without the kids in the kitchen), I was able to get the piece off. There are four tabs towards the front of the housing that clip into place. The two tabs in the back are meant to hold the piece in place. They have no give and are not meant to flex. Two of the four clips in the front are not accessible while the part is attached to the top of the fridge. I can’t imagine that this plastic piece will last more than a few times of taking it out and putting it back in. Hopefully my next round of LED boards will last longer than 1.5 years :-\.
