Hello,

I have a fridge/ freezer combo that is not working properly. The fridge section appears to be working fine, but the freezer will not freeze anything. It gets cold, about same temp as fridge, but will not freeze. I checked the condenser coils and they are clean. The condenser fan does run. I removed the back panel on the inside of the freezer to inspect evaporator. It was not iced over at all and didn’t even really feel cold to the touch. The evaporator fan appears to run fine. The was one line that was very frosty and iced over. I attached a photo of it. Not sure what that indicates, but I am looking for direction on how to proceed diagnosing the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Per your photo's of the evaporator coil, you have a sealed system problem.

Look at these photos below, you will see the very bottom photo show a NORMAL FROST PATTERN with a thin layer of frost from Top to Bottom of the evap. coil.
