Hello everyone. So I have a issue with my Maytag washer. The washer will not agitate and also the washer plate that is attached to the shaft, which looks like the gear case shaft, comes off easily without any issues. Have anyone had this issue before and found the solution? I am looking for parts to see if I could possibly fix this myself.

thank you. I will attempt to fix it if I could find a cheaper transmission gearcase. Will update when I do.
