My maytag dishwasher fills with water then stays on " washing / add dish" for about 5 minutes then the "Add dish" light goes off & "washing" light comes on but never really starts washing. I cut the breaker to it for a minute but that didn't do anything. Any help is much appreciated.

I'm attaching your tech. data sheet below, look on page 4 WASH/RINSE strip circuit, see if you're getting 120 volts at the 2 LIGHT BLUE WIRES that go to the wash motor after the tub fills and the wash motor should be running.

Does the wash motor make any sound at all, like its trying to turn on? Like a hum sound?
