My MDB7750AWB shows a completely unresponsive touchpad, except the "Start" button.
Occasionally, the DW won't complete a run cycle, leaving two inches of clean water in the bottom of the tub but sparkling clean dishes.
I can't run another cycle because the "Start" button is now unresponsive, too.
If I wait an hour or so, the "Start" button returns to life and I can run a cycle to completion.
All other functions remain unavailable.
Does this mean that I need a new touch pad? Or control module? Or both?
How do I access those components? Your test-the-keypad instructions ask that you "open the console". I'm not sure what this means.
Thanks!
