Dryer timer will not advance in any setting; timed dry, sensor dry, etc. Timer motor has power. Timer motor resistance check shows ~2700 ohms. Electrical testing seems to show the timer motor being okay. There is no heat produced in air fluff mode which tells me heating element isn’t shorted. Heat works properly on all settings. Everything on this dryer seems to be working as it should except for the fact that it will not shut off on its own. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If your getting 115 to 120 volts to the timer motor and its not advancing, then your timer is bad. Did you volt test the timer motor when its running?

Here's the timer for your model you can order:

That’s what I was figuring. I was second guessing myself due to the fact that it sounds like this a fairly rare part to go bad. Thanks so much for your help Jake!

And yes I did have 120 volts present with the dryer running.

Ok, then yes it has to be a bad timer then, that's all it can be.:)

Let us know how it goes when you replace it.
