I have a customer that has a Maytag Gas Dryer. It is model MGDE200XW1. It was given to them by a Family Member. The dryer was used on LP Gas and they are on NAT gas. I looked in the Parts Listings and I can not find a Kit that would convert this back to NAT gas use. I realize that to do so, requires the NAT gas orifice and Vent Cap. Does such a kit exist, and if so, what is the Kit number.

I also realize the NAT gas orifice is available as a separate part, but can not see a part number for the Vent Cap. The gas valve is your typical White-Rodgers.

Please advise.

Hi,

There isn't a kit to convert it back to Natural Gas. You will need to order the original natural gas orifice, then on the gas valve unscrew the top and FLIP the plastic plunger in it over, then you're good to go.

Here's the Natural Gas Orifice for your model you can order:
WP15418 Natural Gas Orifice
