Any ideas on our issue? TIA!

Bought in 2017 Propane Gas Maytag Range. Broil works, range top works. Took bottom out of oven and can hear the clicking and see the spark on the ignitor but it won't light. Don't smell gas either.

That looks like a manufacture's ID for a knob(?) and not the appliance's model number. We need it actual model number to identify the appliance involved to research it. If you post its real model number someone will try to offer suggestions.

You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances at the following link:

That model number is still incomplete. Are you getting it right off the appliance's model and serial number identification tag? That's the only place the complete information will be found.

I looked up a model MGS8880DE0 and it uses a Whirlpool DSI (direct spark) ignition system. On those, if no gas is being released to the oven burner on bake but that broil still does function, I can only see either the main control being responsible or an internal mechanical problem with the gas valve assembly.
