• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Hi,

I' ve got a Oven/Microwave combo unit from Kitchenaid. When I try to use the microwave it reads DOOR on the control panel and it wont work even thought the door is closed to the MW. When I put on the oven, it comes on but I also hear the MW on and the fan above the MW also comes on. If I put water in a glass in MW while the oven is on it gets hot so I assume the MW is coming on with the oven control. Also nothing ( turntable, etc ) works in the MW when it heats the water.

Any ideas? Bad control board?

Any ideas on where to get the service manual for this unit?

Model #: KEHC309JSS
