• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

I removed the front glass panel of our Miele H4080BM to clean the glass. The door assembly and hinges were untouched. After replacing the glass panel, the oven will not heat in microwave mode. The lights, display and timer all work. It is a combination oven and the bake function still works. I switched off the breaker for several hours but the problem persists. I have trouble believing that something has failed coincident with the door cleaning, so I'm looking for any suggestions before pursuing a more significant part failure.

Thanks for any help!
