Hi All,

I have a washer that's broke and I can't read the whole model number. I tried using the blog to find a repair solution but everything I've tried hasn't worked. Gave up and called a repair guy who came out to the house only to tell me that he can't do anything without the model number (cost me $50 to find that out.) The numbers that I have are FW(T)...(R)ES2 The letters in brackets are ones that are partly readable but I'm not 100% sure if they're right. I looked up the applicability of several of the parts on the net but none of the models come up with these numbers.

It's a Frigidaire Gallery front loader that was purchased in Florida in '99.

Thanks in advance,

Jimmy

Hi,

Try looking here to see if something comes close:

www.applianceblog.com/parts then put in the first 3 alphabets FWT in the parts search model# box on the left hand side on the page. It will come up with a list of the model numbers that come close.

is the serial number legible? if so, perhaps you could contact frigidaire's customer service dept and see what the model # was.
