Hello:
We are having a periodic issue where we start washer and come back later and did not go into cycle....dry clothes.
Initially I found that the agitator plate was loose and making a bit of a grinding noise, so I replaced that and issue seemed to go away for a few weeks.
Came down this morning and found again dry clothes - machine did not start. I started machine and watched this time. It kept going between sense and wash and not spinning during the sense. The agitator plate was periodically cycling and spinning slowly. Finally the machine did go into wash mode and ran the load. Must be something not working though that it did not spin during sense mode.
I flipped unit on back. Found a bunch of paper clips and lint in the drain area that I was able to pull out (think that is unrelated). Noticed stain on floor. Is this a symptom of bad tub seal leaking a little bit of water? Maybe has caused shift sensor to go bad or be on the fritz?
Appreciate any help trying to trouble shoot. Thanks ahead.
Tony
