MVWC465HW2 Maytag Washer F8E1 error code, Hot & Warm Water Fill Issues Lead To Wash Stop Or Drain

Cold water cycles run fine in normal & quick settings. Warm & hot cycles however only sense/fill (verrrry slowly) then either drain or go to wash cycle momentarily then stop with the wash light on. Drain hose is at appropriate height, new hot water line to back of washer, inlet valves are clean. Ran diagnostic to get F8E1 error code. Recalibrated & stopped after about 1-2 minutes. Any ideas?

F8E1 – NO FILL, LONG FILL

First check the water inlet valve filter screens, if no sediment in them, then the problem is the water inlet valve.

To check the water inlet valve filter screens for clogs--->You will need to turn the water OFF to the machine, then remove the fill hoses and clean out the filter screens.
