Stays stuck in sensing mode when trying to start a normal wash cycle. It’ll rotate a couple times as if trying to sense and ends up just stopping. Noticed the lid doesn’t lock. Just tried to run “clean washer mode”, it fills up with water but once it begins “wash” it’ll rotate like before and just stays like that. I got the code F7E5. I also am not very familiar with how appliances work but I am mechanically inclined so I’d thought I’d try to figure this out. Thank you.

I just tried “drain and spin” mode and as it began, it rotated and made a loud grinding noise.
