It is engaged onto the drum gear things when it is supposed to agitate, and isnt engaged on the gears when it should be spinning. This is what it looks like: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ueq70LGrXEDYlhx7PcqUNa_H7d-Tstsw/view

I have replaced a shift actuator and a control board and it is doing the same exact thing. Something to note is that the first time I plugged my shift actuator in, it seemed to work properly at first but then my clothes were soaked when the washer stopped.

That is odd, it seems I remember another person that had this same issue, but I can't locate that thread. I'll keep looking.

I'm attaching your tech data sheet below. Get into the ACTIVATING THE SERVICE DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODES and see what fault code you get.

On Page 2 of your tech. data sheet do: ACTIVATING THE SERVICE DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODES

Then do FAULT CODE DISPLAY MODE on Page 3

Then you can see what fault code/codes you are getting on Page 6 and Page 7: FAULT/ERROR CODES

Wait, I found it:

Here's the OEM shift actuator for your model:
W10913953 Actuator

Make sure you get the OEM shift actuator, not a aftermarket one, that was his problem in that thread.

Uhh, I found today after replacing my replacement shift actuator that that was indeed the problem. Here’s hoping that this Chinese duplicate is superior to my last Chinese duplicate. Thank you for your help.

Did you order the OEM shift actuator I posted above?

No, I ordered another one from Amazon lol. but it is working great so far. if this one breaks ill just bite the bullet and buy an OEM one. which it probably will, but it has pretty good reviews on Amazon compared to my last, and looks different from the one that everyone else is selling.

Ok, Yes, I always recommend the OEM shift actuator.:)

Glad to hear its working great so far from the new Amazon one.(y)
