Hello from Greece, recently my refrigerator GSE28VHBATWW stopped working it's compressor and i found your forum to ask for help in defying which is faulty the main board or the inverter. Our voltage is 220V and after watching some videos from Youtube i made some measures on the main Board. The results are that all the fans are working with ~13.5 Volt and the thermistors are in good shape.
The only drawback is that I'm hearing a high pitched noise from the main board, probably from one of the 2 major transformers in the power section of the board. Also i measured the J15-1 and J15-2 pins with all the cables connected and found it at 4,9 VDc costantly.
I was thinking to change the inverter as 220V were found with the signal at it's input (inverter's) but i'm not sure because of the the tone that the main board does. Can you help me please in what to check more to be sure for the the fault? Thank you in advance for your help.
