I have a Amana NED4500VQ0 that is shutting down mid cycle. It will run about 10 minutes and shut down. It will not start right back up but after a few minutes it will restart. It will do this repeatedly. However once the clothes have gotten sufficiently dry, the dryer will continue to run thru the remaining timer minutes. Vents, etc are clean. Not sure if it would be a moisture or temp sensor. Any ideas? Thanks

Ok, do a NO HEAT/AIR DRY cycle with NO clothes in the dryer and see if it runs that entire cycle without shutting down.

Jake, no the timer doesnt complete the full timer when the dryer is used on the lowest heat setting. It will start again after a few minutes though just as it does with the higher heat settings

Try it on the AIR DRY cycle. with no heat involved.

Also try it on TIMED DRY only.

About two days ago our dryer started to shut off mid cycle. We did have the dryer vent cleaned and the dryer does get hot inside. We tried again after having the vent clean and it is still having the same issue. After about five minutes of running it continues to shut off.
