• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

The issue I'm having is when I open the door the display goes black but strangely you can open the door and the display will not turn off until you swing the door maybe halfway opened then the display goes black when you close the door completely it comes back on. I already replaced the door Interlock Switches which fixed The door open / not closed won't start issue I was having before. But now I'm having this other issue so I tried replacing the Interlock Switches again but this time it didn’t fix it.

Below is a video of the issues I'm having

Someone likely needs to inspect the wiring going to the door, especially where it flexes when the door opens and closes. There might be a loose connection or a break, resulting in an intermittent connection. I can't see the door switches having anything to do with such a malfunction.

I am not familiar with that model to say where to look or how to access the necessary areas. Sorry.
