Hi,

I don't have the service manual for this model, but I did locate the tech. data sheet, I'm attaching it below. There is no service test 46. There is a STEP 46 in the tech. data sheet, but activates the water dispenser, not the ice maker.

If the ice maker is not working, it sounds like you may have broken wires. This has been very common on this model.

Lots of members have found frayed and broken wires causing the ice maker/and or auger motor to be dead. Remove your bottom kickplate grille, Remove the black wire harness loom too, broken wires can be underneath it.

Another member was having a similar problem here: FIXED: GSF26C4EXY02 Whirlpool Gold Ice Maker Problem Look at his post #6 he found frayed and broken wires underneath the freezer door, remove your kickplate and check for that first.

If the wires are good, then you'll need a new ice maker.

SOLVED. Thank you for manual! Just want to update on the fridge. Everything started to work good after icemaker replacement. Checked the wires under freezer door. Looked ok. Unfortunately this model doesn't have test cycle for icemeker. Newer Kenmore/Kitchenaid do have this cycle. Thank you again for providing the manual!
