Hi!

New here. We have a set of whirlpool duet front loaders about 12-15 years old. They’ve been good to us. Earlier this week, the dryer gave out and it’s time to purchase new.
My question is- I feel the appliance store salespeople are giving me the run around. Pandemic shortages are an issue for sure but I’m being told by one store to go with LG WM4000H and matching dryer that’s in stock. Other stores say Electrolux can’t be beat but I’ll need to wait 3months plus to purchase. I may be able to get a Maytag MHW5630 from a third place.

I know that Maytag/whirlpool used to be the most reliable but how would this new LG do? Speed queen is out of our budget.

Thank you in advance.

We recommend Maytag and Whirlpool appliances always for the best reliability.:)

Every appliance in my house is Maytag and Whirlpool, I would never even consider anything else.:)

Thank you for your quick response. I'm sorry if I wasn't more specific. If maytag is not available for 3-5 weeks, should i suck it up and wait or would an LG be "ok"?

That's your choice, depending on if you need a washer right now or not.
