This GE French door refrigerator (with bottom freezer drawer) is only a few months old. But every 2-3 weeks, the ice dispenser "jams" and ice won't drop through the delivery chute. I open it up and the ice in the bucket is fine -- plenty of cubes, and not stuck/frozen together. But invariably, ice/frost has accumulated at the bottom of the chute (at the door) and won't allow ice above it to come down, whether cubes or crushed. I have to use a long "probe" (like a thin wooden dowel) to clear the jam from above. When it "breaks loose" it invariably dumps a ton of ice on the floor. This is a brand new refrigerator, so a defective flapper or solenoid should not be the issue. I have heard other owners of this particular model cite the same problem, but I've not seen a "fix" for it. Any ideas would be appreciated!
