Hello -

I just picked up a used Jenn Air JDS8850BD dual fuel range, supposedly in good working condition. I purchased and installed the LP conversion kit, changed to 4 prong plug and hooked up gas and electric. Oven seems to be working fine, I was able to set the clock, set bake to 350 and it started to preheat.

The burners on the other hand, do nothing in the ignition department. They light fine with a lighter and seem to adjust fine with the knob, but absolutely nothing in the way of a spark... no clicking, no nothing. I had to remove the burners to get access to change over the spuds, and there was quite a bit of what looks like oxidation n the undersides of the burners... not sure if this is related.

I did find a service manual online and will track down a voltage tester over the weekend to check voltage at spark module.

Any other suggestions on where to start?

Thanks

Jeff
