Hey there!
I'm 406appliances. Glad that I found this forum! I recently started my appliance journey last December.
A little background: I own and operate a small electronics recycling facility. While I've had a ton of fun over the past 5 years, I started to get a little bit burned out on ewaste. After all, you can only disassemble your 1000th TV before you just get bored. Over the years, I've gotten really well acquainted with microwaves and repairing them (something that I really had fun with). Up until about 5 months ago, I had not touched a large appliance other than to toss them into my rolloff for recycling. Well...fast forward a little while and I'm having a ton of fun fixing up and refurbishing appliances (averaging 10-15 sales per month). As it turns out, no one wants to pay the crazy prices of new appliances only to have them last 2 months out of warranty. Additionally, the local landfill charges $50 per fridge for disposal giving me an unlimited supply of them.
Anyhow, super excited to be here and happy to learn/contribute what I've learned so far.
