Newer HDF330PGR3WW Hotpoint Dishwasher blinking 6 times

Bought this dishwasher on marketplace, looks like it has never been used. Hooked up everything-no leaks.

It's getting water and the drain hose has water going through it but it only runs for a minute or two then quits and the one light blinks 6 times. The schematics show that that is a drain issue but the hose is attached and water is going through it. Turned breaker on and off to hard reset but same thing keeps happening. Thoughts?

What I usually do is get a bucket or container then put the drain hose in it and press cancel drain to see how fast the water is running out into the bucket or container, it should be a good strong flow out of the drain hose.

Did you just replace your garbage disposal? If so, then you have to knockout the plastic stopper where the dishwasher drain hose connects to if the water is coming out full force from the drain hose.

Also check inside the garbage disposal port where the drain hose connects to, I've seen that get clogged and prevent it from draining as well.

It is a good flow. We do not have a garbage disposal.

Ok got it, but I can't locate any tech data sheet or service manual for this model. Without that we are dead in the water.

Its best to contact GE at 1-800-432-2737 to have a GE tech. come out to see what's going on.
