No heat

Amana dryer NDE5800AYW I had replace end of the double yellow wire to the door switch.Question would affect the heat also grey wire and white wire.I had heat before that.

Hi Mark,

Here's the wiring diagram: Parts for Amana NDE5800AYW: Wiring Information (series 12) Parts

The double yellow, one goes to the motor, the other goes to the PUSH-TO-START switch.

Gray goes to the interior light which the other side of the interior light switch is the blue wire from L2. So that's possibly where the problem lies, if you can't get voltage on that line it will not heat at all.

White is Neutral.
