Have installed
New Filter
New Water Valve
New Ice Makers in both Fresh and Bottom Freezer Areas
Have had the fresh (top) evaporator freeze up a lot.
Thinking I need to replace the following parts both located behind the top fresh ice maker.
Defrost heater #2309880
Defrost Thermostat #4512898
Possibly a housing unit (not sure think there was a new housing unit made to help correct the freezing over) for the evaporator and new gasket(s). This is because I have had the upper ice maker housing off and on a lot over the last few years to defrost the evaporator.
This refrigerator I got with the house I bought. The manufacture date is 2016.
I found a receipt from the previous owner that a new gasket was replace in 2016 because the "fan was frozen".
This refrigerator has a thick grey gasket and the looks of some black gasket material that was installed at some time. These are around the unit housing and around the area.
Note this refrigerator has never had a problem with water dispensing though the door and the only code I can pull is for test 26 (Ice maker defrost heater) the test only displays CL only when I run the test.
Also note the fan does run when tested and the tray is filling and twisting when tested, it just won't release the ice cubes.
The bottom ice maker was working once and a while but currently is not with the new ice maker installed. At one time it would just crank out a lot of ice then just stop to a few cubes a day. No changes then this would happen.
