Our dishwasher has worked well for several years and it was disconnected for some other kitchen repairs. I decided to replace the broken top door cover while it was disconnected.
When I connected everything back up the unit would not turn on.
I pulled out the control button board and saw a few black burns on some PCB components so I ordered a new control board.
Installed it and the same results.
I checked the power and there is 120 v coming to the unit.
There is 120 v to one of the switch wires. Is the switch momentary? Can I jumper the switch to continue troubleshooting?
Is there a way to troubleshoot the main power control box without replacing it? Does anyone know what wires should have power going to the control pannel so it starts?
As dishwasher prices have really jumped I do not want to buy a new one.
Any help would be appreciated.
