My new KitchenAid gas range will not maintain its temperature but only in convection mode. In regular bake mode, when the temperature swings down, I can hear the igniter click and gas lights to bring the temperature back up. But in convection bake mode, it reaches the target temp when preheating. As soon as I open the door and put the food in, it will drop in temperature and never ignite to bring the temperature back up to the set point. I have a thermometer inside the oven that I use the see where the temperature is at.
I’ve used the auto-test feature and it shows no error codes. Anyone else encounter this problem?
