I got a washer with a flashing red light with no start up no spin cycle got a E2 and F1 not sure its for a family i know that doesn't have much money for a new one.

According to the unit's 'tech sheet' (# W10740573 attached) fault code F1E2 indicates a fault of the motor control section of the main control. There is a test procedure recommended. I do not have any personal experience with this problem.
