Old Kelvinator Refrigerator

Hello All,
I am new to the forum and new to vintage appliances. This is actually the first time I have ever posted anything on a forum. I recently picked up a Kelvinator refrigerator at an estate sale for $100. I thought it would be a cool project and a nice addition to my man cave. It is in great working condition and cools really well. I have been looking online for the past few days and cannot find another one that looks like it. I have no idea what year it is or where i may be able to find a few parts for it. It is currently missing the handle and two of the interior door shelves. I can live without the door shelves, but would really like to find a handle. I have posted pictures, let me know if more pictures would be helpful. Any help on finding out what year it is from or where I can find parts would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm not sure which one of the numbers in the pic is the serial number. Thanks for any help

Looks like a 1955-1957 model. Look for a tag by the compressor. That usually has a date on it. One of the hardest to find parts is a vintage refrigerator door handle. Keep searching online and you might get lucky. Try looking for places that restore vintage appliances and contact them. What's wrong with the handle? Most of the time the handles can be repaired.

Thanks for the reply Rick. I looked on the compressor and it is a 1957. I have attached a few more photos of the handle itself. It has the actual base of the handle I am just missing the handle itself. Hopefully the pictures explain it a little better than I do. Thanks again.

If you remove the assembly from the door and take it apart you might be able to find something that will work. You'll just need to see how it's attached.
