We've had this gas oven for 4-6 years. Today the broiler stopped working. I powered it off and let it sit and retried. Still nothing. Of course there is no gas sound or smell, and no heat at all. how can I debug this?

I'm correcting this. I flipped the oven gas valve off/on and bake IS working. Broil is not. Does this imply the ignitor is bad?

Hi,

When you first turn on the broil cycle open the oven door and look inside for an orange glow at the broil igniter in your oven. You should see the orange glow from the broil igniter, it should glow orange for about 45-60 seconds then it should light the gas.

If you see the orange glow and gas never comes out, then that broil igniter is bad.

If you DON'T see a orange glow from the broil igniter, then you will need a multimeter. Disconnect your broil igniter from where it plugs into and put your meter probes in that connector and turn broil on and look for your meter to read 120 volts, if it doesn't then its definitely the clock oven control board that's bad.

Yes correct, do test it with a meter and see if its getting 120 volts to it.

Was able to test this at lunch and there is 120v at the igniter connector in the rear. So I should order the broiler glowbar listed above. Correct?
